Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Electrician 3 to join our expanding installation team. This role is eligible for a sign-on bonus and requires a Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise job sites and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior electricians.
- Act as a crew leader or foreman when necessary.
- Install, maintain, modify, and repair electrical distribution systems and related equipment.
- Identify and locate underground electrical utilities for various projects.
- Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit as required.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment for installations and service tasks.
- Inspect and test components of electrical systems, including transformers and switch gears.
- Oversee inspections and repairs of main power distribution systems and panel boards.
- Manage repairs to line voltage for HVAC systems.
- Document and report faults, deficiencies, and unusual occurrences, along with time and materials used.
- Conduct tests and inspections to evaluate the quality and performance of equipment and services.
- Respond to emergencies involving power and backup systems failures.
- Communicate job status, issues, and recommendations effectively to management.
- Provide thorough documentation of work performed.
- Operate a company vehicle in compliance with local laws.
- Adhere to safety protocols and report any hazards to maintain a secure working environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in the electrical field or a related area.
- Possession of a Master Electrician license or equivalent training and experience.
- A valid driver's license in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within data center environments.
