Job Summary

Compu Dynamics LLC is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Install team, you will be responsible for designing, constructing, and maintaining electrical distribution systems and associated equipment in our data center facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee job sites to ensure efficient and safe execution of electrical installations and repairs.
  • Mentor and train junior electricians to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Act as a crew leader and/or foreman as needed to coordinate electrical work and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated equipment, including transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears.
  • Locate and identify electrical underground utilities for various projects.
  • Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit to ensure accurate and efficient electrical connections.
  • Troubleshoot issues and make recommendations to resolve electrical system problems.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment to perform electrical installations or service to equipment and mechanical systems.
  • Inspect and test components of electrical systems to ensure quality and performance.
  • Supervise inspections and repairs on Main Power Distribution Systems, Panel Boards, and other electrical systems as needed.
  • Oversee repair to line voltage for all HVAC systems.
  • Record and report all faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders.
  • Conduct tests and inspect equipment, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.
  • Respond to emergency power and back-up systems failures.
  • Effectively communicate status of jobs, issues, recommendations, etc. to management.
  • Provide timely and completed documentation of work performed.
  • Drive company vehicle throughout service area while following all local laws.
  • Operate vehicles and other equipment safely; adhere to safety protocols; report hazards and risks; behavior contributes to a safe and secure working environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 8+ years of experience in the field or related area.
  • Master Electrician license or equivalent electrical training and experience.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data centers.
