Primary Responsibilities:

Team Management:
  • Oversee, train, and inspire banquet service staff to uphold high standards of professionalism and service quality.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to banquet staff, ensuring optimal service coverage and efficiency.
  • Exemplify leadership and foster a positive, cooperative atmosphere within the team.
Event Management:
  • Work alongside the Lead Manager to plan and execute events, including menu selections, seating layouts, and special requests from guests.
  • Assist in the arrangement of banquet spaces, ensuring tables, chairs, linens, and tableware are set according to event requirements.
  • Supervise the proper presentation and serving of food and beverages, ensuring they are delivered at the appropriate temperature and in an appealing manner.
Guest Relations:
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating needs and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Maintain a welcoming and approachable demeanor, serving as a point of contact for guest inquiries.
  • Ensure that all dietary restrictions and allergies are communicated to the kitchen staff and accommodated during service.
Quality Assurance:
  • Monitor the banquet area throughout the event to ensure cleanliness, proper settings, and seamless service.
  • Quickly address any service-related issues and communicate with the Banquet Manager as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and food safety protocols.
Communication:
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with the Lead Manager, kitchen personnel, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth event operations.
  • Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for enhancing service quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in waitstaff or supervisory roles.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards and etiquette.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Willingness to work evenings.
