Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, repairs, replacements, and troubleshooting on various models of Hyster-Yale forklifts and other competitive material handling equipment.

This includes working with diverse fuel systems, drivetrains, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
Experienced technicians will have the opportunity to mentor and train apprentice technicians through hands-on guidance.
Adhere to all safety protocols while executing work and comply with company policies.
Accurately identify and order necessary replacement parts.
Operate service vehicles in a clean, safe, and secure manner, following all required safety regulations.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma, G.E.D., or technical school certification preferred.
Proven ability to repair equipment according to skill level.
Basic knowledge of computer/tablet systems (both Microsoft and Apple operating systems).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required throughout employment.
Exceptional customer service skills are essential.
Language Proficiency
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety regulations, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Capable of writing routine correspondence.
Mathematical Skills

Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, percentages, and basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Competence in understanding weight measurements, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Skills

Ability to solve practical problems and manage various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.

Capability to interpret a variety of instructions presented in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule formats.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally or audibly.

The employee may occasionally need to climb or balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and engage senses such as taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required for this role include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Employees must operate equipment safely.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, depending on the location, the employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts and equipment.

The employee may occasionally encounter high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, and vibrations.

Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme temperatures, and electrical hazards may occur.

The noise level in some work environments may be loud.
