Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on various models of forklifts and material handling equipment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance of fuel systems, drivetrains, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.
  • Assisting in training and mentoring apprentice technicians through hands-on experience.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Identifying and ordering necessary replacement parts.
  • Operating service vehicles safely and responsibly.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or technical school graduate preferred.
  • Proven ability to repair equipment based on skill level.
  • Basic knowledge of computer and tablet systems (Microsoft and Apple).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals, as well as write routine correspondence.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to perform calculations involving discounts, percentages, and basic arithmetic operations.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
