Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Engineer to join our team at INEOS Phenol. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing the production of our assets, ensuring maximum efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement artificial lift systems to optimize well performance
  • Identify and execute workover opportunities to increase production and reduce costs
  • Develop and implement workover procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Partner with field staff to troubleshoot problems and optimize production
  • Identify and implement opportunities to debottleneck wells and improve production
  • Manage and report on specific cost categories to ensure cost optimization
  • Manage the TA/PA program for the area of operations
  • Participate in the Pre-Startup Safety Review for new wells
  • Drive innovation and improvement through data visualization and engineering enhancements
  • Participate in root cause failure analysis and understand downhole failures
  • Partner with leadership and procurement to ensure cost management and vendor availability
  • Provide feedback on new well design to ensure operability and reservoir management
  • Participate in field safety programs
  • Identify and address other business issues, such as lack of data for decision making
  • Perform well-by-well reviews with management and field staff

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8+ years of industry experience
  • Bachelor of Science in engineering degree
  • Proven track record of driving improvements and profitability
  • Proven track record of improving safety performance
  • Ability to find, evaluate, and implement technology solutions to improve safety, cost, and execution
  • Proven track record of success and problem-solving
  • Ability to develop and lead high-performing, multidisciplinary technical teams
  • Experience optimizing execution and business processes
  • Passion for innovation with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Desire and willingness to spend regular time in the field supporting staff and understanding how work gets done

Relocation:

Preferential treatment will be granted to candidates residing in the Denver, Colorado metropolitan area.

Compensation and Benefits:

Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) and Equal Pay Transparency Rules.

The annual rate for this position generally ranges between $185,000 - $206,000 with an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, of up to 40% of eligible pay.

This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs, business performance to metrics, and other considerations permitted by law.

The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.

401(k) retirement has both an automatic 3% company contribution and a match of up to an additional 6% of eligible compensation.
