Position Summary

We are seeking a data-driven and results-oriented Product Manager to enhance our fraud detection and prevention initiatives. This role will be pivotal in executing the product roadmap for our checkout team, focusing on innovative strategies to combat fraud while minimizing false positives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including fraud specialists and engineering, to implement the product roadmap aimed at fraud detection and prevention.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of fraud prevention measures and manage their performance metrics.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to develop and refine fraud prevention technologies.
  • Utilize data analytics, product metrics, and market research to prioritize the product backlog effectively.
  • Monitor and report on product performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Define new product features or enhancements to existing offerings that focus on reducing fraud risks.
  • Prepare compelling business cases to secure support from management and senior leadership.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on goals and progress updates.
  • Identify automation opportunities to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, particularly in fraud detection and prevention.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of fraud detection technologies and methodologies.
  • Experience with data analytics and performance tracking tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Proven experience collaborating with engineering teams to implement product features.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development practices.
  • Detail-oriented with a creative and resourceful approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Ability to articulate product decisions clearly and leverage data for stakeholder buy-in.
  • Experience in launching products and understanding key product attributes.
  • Start-up experience is a plus, with a versatile approach to product management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the fintech sector.
  • Knowledge of international money transfer systems and compliance standards.
  • Familiarity with machine learning applications in fraud detection.
  • Experience with risk management and fraud prevention solutions.
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations and their implications for fraud strategies.
