Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Optimization Engineer to join our team at INEOS Phenol. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for optimizing the performance of our wells and reservoirs to maximize production and minimize costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement artificial lift systems to optimize well performance
  • Identify and prioritize workover opportunities to improve well productivity
  • Develop and implement workover procedures to ensure safe and efficient operations
  • Collaborate with field staff to troubleshoot problems and optimize well performance
  • Identify and implement opportunities to debottleneck wells and improve production
  • Manage and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, reliability, and cost
  • Partner with facilities engineers to improve operations of rotating equipment
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve profitability
Requirements
  • Minimum 8+ years of industry experience in production optimization and well performance
  • Bachelor of Science in engineering degree
  • Proven track record of driving improvements and profitability in production operations
  • Proven track record of improving safety performance and process safety
  • Ability to find, evaluate, and successfully implement technology solutions to improve safety, cost, and execution
  • Proven track record of success and problem-solving
  • Ability to develop and lead high-performing, multidisciplinary technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with reservoir management and well performance optimization
  • Knowledge of production optimization software and tools
  • Experience with cost-saving initiatives and process improvement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
