Marketing Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Marketing to join our team at AEG. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive ticket sales, game attendance, and brand awareness.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day marketing efforts, including website updates, email marketing, social media, and database management.
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns to drive revenue generation and support ticket sales.
- Collaborate with the social media team to establish and implement social media strategies that drive business objectives.
- Manage advertising spend and develop annual media plans to ensure optimal ROI.
- Provide oversight and development of the marketing team, including mentorship and guidance to develop marketing staff.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Communications, or related field.
- 5+ years of related marketing work experience in sports or entertainment.
- 3 years of experience leading and managing a team.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent judgment and ability to develop, leverage, and maintain relationships.
- Previous experience working for WNBA or other professional sports teams or in entertainment or event marketing.
- Strong familiarity with the Los Angeles market.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Available to work on-site for Sparks home games and events, including late evening hours and outside normal business hours.
- Must be willing to relocate to Los Angeles, CA.
