Strategic Technical Business Developer

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on industry standards and market conditions.
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Technical Business Developer to support our Sales organization and customers in advanced technical and commercial tasks. This role will involve interacting with customers at all levels, maintaining data and information, executing product selection and quoting, and providing commercial and technical support.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Develop strong relationships with customers at all levels, understanding their needs and preferences to translate into functional actions.
- Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the SWEP CRM system, logging activities and updating customer information.
- Product Selection and Quoting: Execute product selection and quoting processes from receipt of RFQ to order completion, setting prices according to clear guidelines and discounts.
- Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support to customers, including thermodynamic calculations, customizing, and claim processes.
- Training and Development: Provide internal and external training on SSP G8 software, actively driving its integration into customer systems and supporting troubleshooting issues.
- Quality Audits: Lead quality audits and support during customer visits, organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and collecting data.
- Market Research: Conduct self-driven customer/market mapping and research, analyzing customer structure and product portfolios, identifying new opportunities, and consolidating relevant commercial information.
- Project Participation: Participate in SWEP internal projects and dedicated customer projects, acting as a project leader when required.
- Financial Analysis: Participate in financial analysis for strategic planning and business opportunities evaluation, compiling data and building unique value propositions.
- Pricelist Creation: Create customer-specific pricelists based on negotiations and maintain them in accordance with agreements.
- Field Failure Reporting: Follow-up on claims and report field failures to ensure timely resolution.
- Representation: Act as a SWEP representative at customer events, exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and other relevant events.
- Knowledge Update: Stay updated with new trends and technology developments in the market to maintain and grow business acumen and knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred)
