JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:

As a Senior Financial Advisor, you will engage with clients and potential clients to identify optimal strategies to achieve their financial and investment objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct a comprehensive suitability assessment with clients to evaluate their financial circumstances, including age, income, net worth, current investments, investment experience, objectives, time horizon, risk tolerance, and liquidity requirements.
  • Provide necessary disclosures related to the sale of non-deposit investment products.
  • Discuss the advantages and risks associated with various investment solutions tailored to the client's needs.
  • Recommend appropriate products and services based on the client's provided information.
  • Meet regularly with existing clients to inform them about potential investments and assess any life changes that may impact their financial goals.
  • Collaborate with the Wealth team to support clients in the High Net Worth segment.
  • Ensure all client documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Process client trade orders and money movement instructions in accordance with regulations.
  • Review all documentation for accuracy before submission for processing.
  • Train branch staff on referral processes.
  • Support the achievement of referral and investment goals through organized events.
  • Participate in branch meetings to understand branch needs.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-referrals.
  • Attend annual compliance training sessions.
  • Complete required continuing education to maintain compliance with insurance and securities regulations.
  • Renew insurance licenses annually before the deadline.
  • Adhere to state insurance and securities regulations.
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach to identify client needs and propose suitable solutions.
  • Coordinate with banking partners to meet client investment needs.
  • Engage in community activities to enhance company visibility and generate new business opportunities.
  • Compile prospective client lists to identify additional business leads.
  • Contact and qualify potential clients to assess their investment needs and risk tolerance.
  • Develop lasting relationships with clients.
  • Continuously enhance product knowledge and consultative selling skills through self-directed learning and training programs.
  • Act as a collaborative partner to bankers and fellow financial advisors.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

No supervisory responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Brokerage, Insurance, Banking, or Retail.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
  • Must possess a valid Life and Health Insurance License, including fixed and variable annuities.
  • Must hold FINRA Investment Licenses (Series 7, 63, 65/66) in good standing.
  • Ability to learn and communicate all investment products and procedures.
  • Capability to identify sales opportunities for bank products and services.
  • Ability to interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in operating necessary equipment to perform job functions.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents relevant to job functions.
  • Capacity to lift or move approximately 10 pounds as required.
