Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to support the Seattle-based Malaria and Neglected Tropical Diseases (MNTD) portfolio leadership at PATH. The successful candidate will have a strong background or interest in global health, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project planning, work plan development, and monitoring to ensure effective communications between donors, country teams, program partners, and the global MNTD team.
  • Provide ad hoc project management support to the MNTD portfolio and contribute to program development initiatives.
  • Coordinate routine donor reporting and deliverable development, and lead preparation for internal or donor-required project stage gates.
  • Contribute to the development and pursuit of new opportunities, including program design, proposal writing, and other related tasks.
  • Develop reports and presentation decks for sensitizing internal and external stakeholders about the projects/programs.
  • Assist in the development of project communications for PATH leadership and donors.
  • Collaborate closely with PATH Communications and Marketing colleagues to develop regular and ad hoc project communications for external audiences as well as PATH leadership and donors.
  • Support the Senior Program Manager to pursue opportunities for collaboration with other PATH teams, helping to build a cross-cutting approach to PATH malaria's work.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree with 1-3 years of work experience (MPH/MBA/MPA preferred).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical capabilities, and decision-making skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization skills and a positive, solution-oriented approach to challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think creatively to help organize information, manage workflow, and improve systems and processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships in a high-growth environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Ability to work both independently and with teams across time zones and locations.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously effectively in high-pressure situations while remaining calm.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to take on a variety of assignments.
  • Strong work ethic, resourcefulness, integrity, credibility, and dedication to PATH's mission.
