This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and co-workers by processing customer requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain clear and concise directions and patient information to ensure accurate and effective service delivery.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of the hospital facility and services to provide informed responses to customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members and other support service departments to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
- Document, communicate, and dispatch service requests to the staff of the departments served by the Service Response Center.
- Provide prompt, courteous, and professional communication with customers and co-workers.
Requirements:
- High School Graduate or GED Required.
- Healthcare experience desired.
- Prior experience in customer service, front desk, or help desk roles desired.
- Excellent listening skills and telephone skills.
- Effective professional communication and interfacing with customers and co-workers.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Requires working knowledge of learned routines, procedures, and practices.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
