About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer I to join our team at The Heico Companies. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for participating in the preparation of formwork/framework layout drawings in Autodesk Revit, analyzing and designing formwork, and supporting the project team in establishing the sequential steps involved in all processes with the scope of the project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the preparation of formwork/framework layout drawings in Autodesk Revit.
  • Analyze and design formwork to ensure efficient construction processes.
  • Support the project team in establishing the sequential steps involved in all processes with the scope of the project.
  • Work closely with the project team to monitor the safety, cost, and scheduling of construction projects.
  • Optimize formwork designs and collaborate with the material coordinator to ensure efficient utilization of company resources.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to enhance the company's ability to procure projects.
  • Perform special projects and complete all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Construction, or Architectural Engineering.
  • No experience necessary, but construction experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to read and understand drawings.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
