Job Overview

COLOURS INC is seeking a skilled Commercial Account Representative to join our team in the NY-PA territory. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales, maintaining client relationships, and delivering exceptional service to our commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial and industrial sectors, leveraging various channels to drive sales growth.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing commercial clients, serving as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact for all sales and service-related inquiries.
  3. Conduct thorough needs assessments with clients to understand their specific requirements and recommend tailored solutions to meet their objectives.
  4. Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver value-added solutions and support to clients.
  5. Coordinate service requests from clients, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues or concerns related to product performance, application, or maintenance.
  6. Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our coating's solutions and secure new business opportunities.
  7. Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction levels, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and explore ways to deepen the partnership.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to anticipate client needs and position our offerings effectively.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably within the coatings industry.
  • Deep understanding of commercial and industrial coatings, including types, applications, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering creative solutions to meet client needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Positive attitude, resilience, and a customer-centric mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional service and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, industry events, and training sessions.
