Job Summary:

The Security Intelligence Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Maine Health organization by analyzing and interpreting internal and external information to identify and mitigate potential threats and risks. This position will be responsible for managing information resources, maturing data into actionable intelligence, and providing recommendations to inform decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of security system information databases and tools.
  • Assist in the development of open-source information collection opportunities and enhance inter-governmental agency information-sharing and liaison activity.
  • Support Behavioral Threat Assessment & Management (BTAM) processes, Risk Assessment Teams, Investigation & Loss Prevention efforts, and other supporting programs at system, regional, and local levels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Advanced certification, such as Certified Intelligence Analyst, Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), and/or CompTIA Data+ preferred.
  • 2 years' experience in intelligence/risk gathering and analysis within a major corporation and/or law enforcement, intelligence, military, or private sector security organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare or higher education with knowledge of existing and emerging risk/threat factors, mitigating strategies, and principles.
