Role Summary:
We are in search of a skilled Ultrasound Imaging Engineer to support our operations. This position involves the installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of ultrasound imaging systems. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the systems function at peak performance, thereby facilitating superior patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, calibrate, and maintain ultrasound imaging systems.
  • Conduct inspections and repairs on various imaging equipment, including systems from leading manufacturers.
  • Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve ultrasound equipment issues using diagnostic tools.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance to uphold equipment reliability and compliance with specifications.
  • Utilize various tools and technical documentation to carry out maintenance tasks.
  • Work closely with healthcare staff to understand their imaging requirements and provide necessary technical support.
  • Stay informed about advancements in the field and apply best practices in equipment management.
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Consult with medical personnel to ensure the safe and effective operation of imaging equipment.
  • Educate users on the proper use and care of ultrasound systems.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance aligns with current specifications for safety and performance.
  • Perform additional modality-specific tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of ultrasound systems.
  • Strong technical expertise in ultrasound imaging technology.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and maintenance equipment.
  • Experience with systems from major manufacturers.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
