Position Summary:
We are in search of a skilled Ultrasound Imaging Engineer to enhance our operations. This role encompasses the installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of ultrasound imaging systems. The successful candidate will collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the effective functioning of ultrasound equipment, ultimately supporting superior patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, calibrate, and service ultrasound imaging devices.
  • Conduct inspections, diagnostics, calibrations, and repairs on a variety of imaging systems, including those from leading manufacturers.
  • Quickly address and resolve ultrasound equipment issues utilizing remote diagnostics and testing protocols.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to uphold equipment reliability and adhere to manufacturer specifications.
  • Employ tools and measurement devices effectively for maintenance and repairs.
  • Work alongside healthcare staff to understand their imaging requirements and provide tailored technical support.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and integrate best practices in ultrasound equipment management.
  • Keep precise records of maintenance and repair tasks.
  • Consult with medical personnel to ensure equipment operates safely and effectively, applying knowledge of electronics and medical principles.
  • Demonstrate equipment operation to medical staff and provide training on proper usage and maintenance.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance aligns with current manufacturer specifications for safety and performance.
  • Carry out modality-specific responsibilities as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years in ultrasound equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Strong technical expertise in ultrasound imaging systems.
  • Proficient in remote diagnostics and testing protocols.
  • Experience with systems from major manufacturers.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
