Job Summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a highly skilled Fire Sprinkler System Specialist to join our team. As a Fire Sprinkler System Specialist, you will be responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring the safety of our customers and their properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on sprinkler fire systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Service and inspect wet, dry, and pre-action systems to identify any potential issues or deficiencies.
  • Inspect, maintain, repair, or replace fire sprinkler equipment and systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Provide advanced technical assistance to team members and customers as needed, including teaching trade skills to apprentices and helpers.
  • Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting any issues and results of work completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Inspect and maintain company vehicles and equipment, ensuring safe operation and compliance with company policies.
  • Respond to emergency service calls, providing prompt and effective assistance to customers.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with commercial and residential fire sprinkler systems.
  • Skilled operation of sprinkler trade equipment, including impact wrenches, band saws, measuring devices, and other specialized tools.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
