Water Utility Foreman

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman to lead our water waste/water installation team in Tampa, FL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation and repair of water mains, fire hydrants, and sanitary sewer lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of field crew employees to increase productivity and meet quality and safety standards.
  • Oversee the installation and repair of water mains, fire hydrants, and sanitary sewer lines.
  • Perform testing for installed systems and ensure quality assurance on all phases of work.
  • Fill out daily reports, including crew member hours, equipment hours, and production quantities.
  • Communicate effectively with Project Superintendents and Project Managers.
  • Participate in safety-related training programs to increase skill set and knowledge base.
  • Perform jobsite quality control checks.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of Water & Sewer Utility experience.
  • At least 2 years of Utility Foreman experience.
  • Experience in large diameter storm drains, water main, dewatering, and well point systems.
  • FDOT experience preferred but not required.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of tools and equipment involved in utility work.
  • Ability to understand and interpret construction drawings and specs.
  • Ability to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate crew members' work.

Certifications:

  • OSHA Safety Course Certification (30 hour).
  • CPR Certification.
