Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pipe Foreman to lead our team in a large heavy civil project in Tampa, FL. The successful candidate will have a strong background in water and sewer utility experience, with a proven track record of leading field crews and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Provide overall leadership and direction to field crew employees, working closely with them to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Installation and Repair: Oversee, instruct, and participate in the installation and repair of water mains, fire hydrants, sanitary sewer lines, and other infrastructure.
  • Quality Control: Perform jobsite quality control checks to ensure that all work meets the required standards.
  • Reporting and Communication: Fill out daily reports, including crew member hours, equipment hours, cost codes, and production quantities, and communicate effectively with Project Superintendent and Project Managers.
  • Safety and Training: Participate in safety-related training programs to increase skill set and knowledge base, and ensure that all crew members are aware of and follow safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 5 years of Water & Sewer Utility experience, with at least 2 years of Utility Foreman experience.
  • Qualifications: Experience in large diameter storm drains, water main, dewatering, well point system, and FDOT experience preferred but not required.
  • Certifications: OSHA Safety Course Certification (30 hour) and CPR Certification.
  • Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
