Role Summary:
As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of electrical distribution systems (EDS) for our innovative all-electric pick-up trucks and rugged SUVs. Your expertise will guide the entire process from initial concept through to production launch.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop all EDS components, including shields, troughs, connectors, terminals, and power distribution elements.
2. Collaborate with Purchasing and Finance teams to establish technical specifications that support the sourcing and quoting processes for your components.
3. Maintain a comprehensive library of core EDS components that align with global standards, facilitating efficient design processes.
4. Work closely with internal teams and external suppliers to define and release all EDS and power distribution components.
5. Engage in both virtual and physical verification testing, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
6. Stay attuned to consumer experiences and propose enhancements to improve system performance.
7. Contribute to the design of production facilities for our vehicles, ensuring efficient resource management to meet cost, timing, and quality objectives.

Location & Travel:
This position requires regular attendance at in-person meetings and events, necessitating collaboration with colleagues and occasional travel for company representation.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and release of electrical wire harnesses and power distribution components within the automotive sector.
- Strong technical acumen in wire harness design, employing a systematic approach to engineering challenges.
- Proficiency in computer-aided engineering (CAE) tools is preferred.
- Ability to foster strong relationships across various organizational levels.
