Position Overview

We are in search of a Technical Alignment Manager who possesses a blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills to cultivate trustworthy relationships with clients, ensuring that the organization’s best interests are prioritized within 46Solutions.

The Technical Alignment Manager is not sales-oriented but instead proactively identifies optimal IT solutions for clients. The ideal candidate will develop a deep understanding of our clients' IT environments, providing cost-effective and time-efficient enhancements. Proactive service, maintenance, and strategic planning are critical components of this role. The Technical Alignment Manager will serve as the technical lead for these services provided to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Some of the essential duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Conducting Onsite Standards and Alignment Reviews.
  • Updating and phasing out assigned Client Standards templates as technology or client environments evolve.
  • Building and maintaining technical knowledge of assigned clients' environments.
  • Identifying client technical risks and collaborating with internal teams as necessary.
  • Developing both Business and Technical acumen with key contacts at Client sites as required.
  • Ensuring high levels of client and user satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships.
  • Implementing, participating in, and promoting Quality Assurance (QA) objectives, processes, and procedures of the Company.
  • Assisting in the training, mentoring, and development of internal staff.
  • Embracing continuous learning and improvement processes in all aspects of the position.
  • Upholding best practices and reporting recommendations to the vCIO.
  • Creating technology and budgetary roadmaps for clients.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Some travel may be required.
  • Occasional after-hours responses from home or returning to the office may also be necessary.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
  • A strong desire to excel as a long-term member of our team.
  • Effective communication skills via phone and email.
  • Excellent client service abilities.
  • A willingness to grow and learn new skills and technologies.
  • Proven experience in roles such as Project Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
  • The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • The capability to provide step-by-step technical assistance, both written and verbal.
  • Industry certifications are a plus.
  • An Associate or Bachelor's Degree is advantageous.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
