We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Accounting Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of vendor payments and travel and entertainment expense reimbursements.

As a specialist in this role, you will utilize your analytical skills to review and process invoices, identify discrepancies, and communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Identify, sort, and review vendor invoices to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  2. Research and process open purchase orders and related invoices within the company's established timeframe.
  3. Maintain accurate records and communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and issues.
  4. Process corporate travel card transactions and assist employees with expense reporting.
  5. Prepare and maintain accounts payable accruals and review aging reports to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  6. Participate in new system testing, implementation, and training to ensure seamless integration and adoption.
Requirements

We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in accounts payable or accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Oracle and Concur.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
