About the Role: As a Contract Specialist at IndyGo, you will play a critical role in managing the procurement process, ensuring compliance with federal regulations, and developing bid documentation. Your strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently will make you an asset to our team.

Responsibilities: Develop and implement policies and procedures regarding contracts, train, review, and correct the work of project managers and evaluation team members in the contract process. Conduct contract negotiations and final contract drafting consistent with the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Best Procurement Practices Manual and Federal Rules of Acquisition (FAR). Perform necessary contract administration procedures, including negotiating contract disputes to resolution. Ensure compliance with FTA regulations throughout the contract process.

Requirements: An associate degree or equivalent work experience in business administration, pre-law, purchasing, or related fields is required. Completion of the National Transit Institute Procurement Series is required within 24 months of employment. Strong presentation skills, decision-making abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are also essential.

Salary: The estimated annual salary range is $50,000 - $54,590, commensurate with education and experience.
