About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team at Open Sky Community Services. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities to live independently and lead meaningful lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote the health, safety, and well-being of individuals.
  • Provide guidance and support to individuals in daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Assist individuals in accessing community resources and services, such as education, employment, and recreational activities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for individuals.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of individual progress and services provided.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; alternative education/experience considered.
  • Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
  • Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.
