Open Sky Community Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Counselor to support adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in our residential programs. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of individuals in our care, while promoting their independence and community integration.
Responsibilities
* Provide guidance and support to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities in daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
* Assist individuals in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for individuals.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation of individual progress and program activities.
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent required; alternative education/experience considered.
* Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
* Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.
