About the Role:
Open Sky Community Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities to live independently and lead meaningful lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote the health, safety, and well-being of individuals served.
- Provide guidance and support to individuals in daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
- Assist individuals in accessing community resources and services, including transportation and recreational activities.
- Review and complete required documentation to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for individuals served.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; alternative education/experience considered.
- Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
- Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.
