You will be responsible for analyzing and resolving production and facility challenges, as well as assisting employees in solving production problems.


Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and resolve production and facility challenges
  • Assist with organizing, coordinating, and implementing maintenance and engineering projects
  • Evaluate production processes for potential improvements in efficiency, ergonomics, and safety
  • Schedule activities to observe priority of interest and effectively communicate with production management
  • Train staff and provide feedback to the supervisor
  • Review and evaluate results of tests
  • Assist with maintaining computerized maintenance management work orders and assign tasks as needed
  • Assist with maintaining crib inventory
  • Prepare reports on progress and recommend the addition, expansion, or discontinuance of projects

Requirements
  • A combination of over four years of directly related training and/or experience is typically required for carrying out the responsibilities for this job
  • High School Diploma or Trade School Certificate with a minimum of six months of related mechanical/electrical experience preferred
  • Must be familiar with general industrial equipment
  • Ability to make quick, accurate repairs to machinery and/or work with an outside contractor as directed by the Maintenance Manager
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical drawings, schemes, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to speak English
  • Ability to understand trigonometry and geometry as necessary
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to identify and address project-related challenges
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure
