About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Principal Automation Engineer to join our Engineering team at LendingClub. As a key member of our Consumer Engineering Team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a QA engineering organization across multiple time zones, ensuring seamless collaboration and high-quality releases.
  • Design and implement effective automation tools to support our QA organization infrastructure.
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to create test plans for new features, ensuring thorough testing and high-quality releases.
  • Delegate work across the QA team, fostering a culture of engagement and effectiveness.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality automation tests for our web and mobile platforms, leveraging expertise in automation frameworks such as Detox, Cypress, and Newman.
  • Drive high-quality releases through a well-managed QA process, setting the standard for test plans across the organization.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of test automation experience and a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Expertise in automation frameworks for Web and Mobile platforms, including Detox, Cypress, and Newman.
  • Performance testing using tools such as JMeter.
  • Experience with Jenkins pipelines and Confluence documentation.
  • Ability to create and customize Jenkins pipelines.
  • Expertise in designing test automation strategy, infrastructure, and architecture.
