Key Responsibilities:
As a Sales Counter Associate, your main responsibilities will include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service that surpasses expectations.
- Processing customer orders, quotes, returns, and transfers efficiently.
- Utilizing your product and industry expertise to recommend solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Maintaining a well-stocked, organized, and clean showroom and warehouse.
- Assisting with order fulfillment, including loading and unloading, while ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Proposing new product ideas and supporting initiatives to minimize overstock and aged inventory.
- Staying updated on product knowledge through training sessions and available resources.
- Performing basic housekeeping tasks as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
- Experience in the HVAC industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with SAGE software is a plus.
- Willingness to work overtime and Saturday mornings as required.
Physical Requirements:
- Capability to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift.
- Able to lift or move items weighing between 25-50 pounds.
- Competence in reaching, feeling, grasping, gripping, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
