Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to join our team at Floor & Decor Holdings, Inc. As a key member of our sales and customer service team, you will be responsible for training and developing Product Sales Specialists, ensuring that customers receive exceptional customer service and product information, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Provide comprehensive training to Product Sales Specialists to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service and product information.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive a positive shopping experience by providing timely and effective assistance, resolving customer complaints, and promoting products and services.
  • Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, including analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and making recommendations to management.
  • Merchandising and Inventory Management: Ensure that the department is well-stocked and visually appealing, and that inventory levels are optimized to meet customer demand.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of Product Sales Specialists to achieve sales and customer service goals, and provide coaching and feedback to improve performance.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1 year of customer service/sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent exposure to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles, and the noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to noisy.

Physical/Sensory Requirements

This position requires the ability to exert 30-60 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
