Financial Accounting Manager

INFICON is seeking a highly skilled Financial Accounting Manager to lead our finance department. The successful candidate will play a key role in setting direction, enforcing internal controls, and developing associates in the department.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and develop a team of 2-4 finance personnel, providing coaching and guidance to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Assist with tax preparation, including R&D tax credits, annual federal and state income tax, sales tax, and international transfer pricing.
- Contribute to the month-end close process, working to improve efficiency and perform analysis of balance sheet, P&L, and cash.
- Collaborate with the team to develop forecasts and budgets, including P&L at the product line level, cash flow, and balance sheet.
- Support cross-functional teams as assigned, providing financial data analysis and guidance.
- Develop, test, and improve internal controls.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations.
- Enhance and develop processes and procedures for the finance team.
- Lead external audits, providing requested documentation and explanations.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and communicate effectively.
- Conflict resolution skills, with the ability to have hard discussions with peers and resolve issues.
- Experience with an ERP system.
- Problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SAP.
- CPA, CMA, or MBA.
