Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Acquisitions Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the acquisitions process, identifying viable properties to acquire, and fostering relationships with landowners, brokers, and other sources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster relationships with landowners and brokers to source investment opportunities
  • Manage the underwriting and due diligence process for new acquisitions
  • Conduct market research and feasibility analysis to identify potential properties
  • Acquire and analyze information on cost to complete, off-site and development requirements, ownership and legal records, zoning, traffic, permitting regulations, comparable sales, demographics, product mix analysis, and other relevant factors
  • Work with senior management to establish pricing, structure deal terms, and prepare and execute Letters of Intent
  • Oversee the preparation of overview and investment presentations
  • Maintain and foster relationships with land owners, brokers, engineers, builders, and developers
  • Prepare and maintain project business plans for select owned projects
  • Perform financial analyses to aid in decision making and quarterly variance analyses and reprojections
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, accounting, or finance (Master's preferred)
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong research, writing, problem-solving, and analytical capacities
  • Ability to travel
