Position Overview:
NVA is in search of a highly qualified and experienced Solutions Architect.

This role is accountable for the implementation, management, and continuous enhancement of our technology infrastructure, emphasizing Azure, VMware, VDI environments, Active Directory, domain management, and certificate services.

This position entails automating processes, minimizing administrative burdens, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems.

The individual will work alongside technology vendors, product managers, IT security, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with company policies and relevant regulations.

This role demands strong technical knowledge, exceptional teamwork skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset toward fostering innovation and efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the implementation and management of technology infrastructure, encompassing cloud services, virtualization, desktop virtualization, Active Directory, domain management, and certificate services.
  • Propel automation and process enhancement initiatives within Azure, VMware, VDI, Active Directory, domain management, and certificate services environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Manage vendor relationships and guarantee compliance with company policies, focusing on Azure, VMware, VDI, Active Directory, domain management, and certificate services solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on Solutions Architecture and infrastructure-related matters.

Qualifications:


Candidates will be assessed primarily on their ability to demonstrate the competencies essential for success in this role, as outlined above.

For reference, the typical work experience and educational background of candidates in this role are as follows:

  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of technology infrastructure, including extensive experience with Azure, VMware, VDI, Active Directory, domain management, and certificate services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Other Requirements:
Individual must reside in North America.
Individual must be willing to travel twice a year for team training and team building.
Individual must have a personal work location that allows for uninterrupted audio and video calls.
Individual's personal work location must have consistent and reliable Internet connectivity.

Preferred Qualifications:


Familiarity with modern workplace technologies, including virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
Experience with virtualization technologies, particularly VMware and VDI solutions.
Experience with Active Directory, domain management, and certificate services.
Certifications in Azure, VMware, Active Directory, or related technologies.
Familiarity with IT security standards and compliance regulations.
