Position Overview:
NVA is in search of a highly qualified and experienced Solutions Architect.

This role is accountable for the implementation, management, and ongoing enhancement of our technology infrastructure, with a specific focus on Azure, VMware, VDI environments, Active Directory, domain management, and certificate services.

Responsibilities include automating processes, minimizing administrative burdens, and ensuring the security and efficiency of our systems.

This individual will work closely with technology vendors, product managers, IT security, and compliance teams to ensure alignment with company policies and relevant regulations.

The position demands strong technical knowledge, excellent collaborative skills, effective communication abilities, and a proactive mindset towards driving innovation and operational efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation and oversight of technology infrastructure, encompassing cloud services, virtualization, desktop virtualization, Active Directory, domain management, and certificate services.
  • Lead automation and process enhancement initiatives within Azure, VMware, VDI, Active Directory, domain management, and certificate services environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology strategies align with business objectives.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and ensure adherence to company policies, particularly concerning Azure, VMware, VDI, Active Directory, domain management, and certificate services solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on solutions architecture and infrastructure-related matters.

Qualifications:

Candidates will be assessed primarily on their ability to demonstrate the competencies essential for success in this role, as outlined above.

Typical qualifications for candidates in this position include:

  • Proven experience as a Solutions Architect with leadership responsibilities.
  • Extensive knowledge of technology infrastructure, particularly with Azure, VMware, VDI, Active Directory, domain management, and certificate services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Other Requirements:
Individual must reside in North America.
Individual must be willing to travel periodically for team training and development.
Individual must have a personal workspace that allows for uninterrupted audio and video communication.
Individual's personal workspace must have consistent and reliable internet connectivity.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with modern workplace technologies, including virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams. Experience with cloud platforms like Azure. Proficiency in virtualization technologies, especially VMware and VDI solutions. Knowledge of Active Directory, domain management, and certificate services. Relevant certifications in Azure, VMware, Active Directory, or related technologies.

Familiarity with IT security standards and compliance regulations.
