Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Site Operations Coordinator to join our team. As a Site Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating daily site operations and on-site construction activities for commercial solar projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily site operations and on-site construction activities for commercial solar projects.
  • Act as onsite contact for contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards, promoting a culture of safety on the construction site.
  • Monitor project progress, including schedules, and quality control, and provide regular updates to project management.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, including permits, inspections, delivery slips, and compliance reports.
  • Facilitate communication between project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure seamless execution of project plans.
  • Identify, report, and help in the resolution of issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify work is being performed according to design specifications and contractual requirements.
  • Monitor and log onsite employees hours and progress.
  • Manage logistics, including the delivery and storage of materials and equipment on site.
  • Support the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and training.
  • 1-2 years' experience in construction management and/or coordination in the energy industry, preferably within the solar or renewable energy industry; willing to train.
  • Strong understanding of construction operations, processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
