Key Responsibilities- Perform solar, electrical, or building inspections as scheduled to ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
- Coordinate inspections with customers and jurisdictions to ensure timely completion and successful sign-off.
- Maintain an organized and efficient calendar to highlight existing appointments and availability for additional inspections.
- Build a positive and lasting customer experience by discussing project timelines post-inspection sign-off and communicating concerns internally.
- Use software systems to record, maintain, and update project-specific deliverables and tasks.
- Complete unforeseen minor punch list items, such as painting conduit or applying NEC stickers/placards.
- Previous experience in PV design, installation, or electrical work, including knowledge of National Electric Code and basic electrical theory.
- Minimum of one year of field construction experience preferred.
- Must be 21 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and maintain a clean driving record with the ability to pass a driving background check.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures, including identifying and reporting safety hazards and encouraging others to work safely.
- Strong communication skills to offer exceptional customer service and interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces, requiring frequent bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, turning, standing, and balance.
- Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently).
- Ability to work and maintain balance on roofs and other areas of height.
- Ability to work in confined spaces, such as attics, basements, and crawl spaces, which requires kneeling and crouching.
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions, including excessive noise, extreme heat, extreme cold, wet environments, and humidity.
- Ability to frequently utilize hand functions requiring fine motor skills, including fine manipulation, grasping, and pinching.
- Ability to work within the safe range of equipment, such as ladders, fall protection harnesses, and other personal protective equipment.
- Ability to hear verbal commands and warnings.
- Ability to walk on rafters, roof tiles, and roof shingles without damage.
- Ability to work in the sun and possibly low light conditions.
