EnergyAid is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solar Operations and Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our solar operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and completion of all service work, performing advanced troubleshooting and complex service diagnosis, and training and developing other Field Service team members.
Key Responsibilities- Service Delivery: Ensure the quality and completion of all service work, including troubleshooting and repairing residential solar systems and associated equipment.
- Technical Expertise: Possess advanced knowledge of solar equipment, including inverters, micro-inverters, and monitoring systems.
- Training and Development: Train and develop other Field Service team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Customer Interaction: Interact with customers and coworkers in a professional environment, able to work both independently and as part of a multi-tasking team.
- Documentation: Complete thorough documentation and reports upon completion of each assigned job to comply with deliverables for our Partners.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years experience with PV equipment and installation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Experience maintaining and servicing solar monitoring systems and solar inverters/micro-inverters.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work at great heights, work in extreme environments, perform prolonged periods of repetitious duties, lift at least 30 pounds frequently.
- Certifications/Licenses: Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and an acceptable and safe driving record.
