Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled IT Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment where technology is integral to our mission. This role involves transforming broader program objectives into meticulously crafted project plans while aiding clients in formulating innovative solutions to intricate challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate overarching program objectives into structured project plans.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to ensure effective task management.
  • Facilitate communication to empower clients, ensuring project goals are met and quality standards upheld.
  • Engage with clients to gather, comprehend, and articulate their IT needs, converting these into actionable project plans and timelines.
  • Develop realistic, resource-allocated schedules to monitor and report on project progress.
  • Prepare and present executive-level communications and briefings.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT project management.
  • Proven experience in planning, scheduling, coordinating, and executing IT projects.
  • Expertise in establishing program baselines and identifying potential risks.
  • Strong understanding of technical concepts and best practices for client solutions.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision while leading a team.
  • Proficient in anticipating, mitigating, and resolving risks and conflicts across various workstreams.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in performance management improvement related to IT governance.
  • Familiarity with Governance Risk and Compliance management to ensure project alignment with risk standards.
  • Knowledge of vendor management to align contracts and Service Level Agreements.
  • SAFe Program Consultant Certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Certifications in Scrum Master, Agile Practitioner, Agile Project Delivery Management (APM), or Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt.

Clearance Requirement:

Applicants selected for this position will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

Compensation:

Compensation is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected salary range for this position is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 annually.
