Key Responsibilities
  • Assist radiologic technologists in performing basic patient care according to medical center policies and procedures.
  • Perform department maintenance duties and errands as requested to help ensure a clean and efficient department.
  • Participate in assigned maintenance tasks, such as cleaning equipment and stocking necessary room supplies.
  • Assist in transporting paperwork internally between work areas and prioritize messages and work in an efficient and consistent manner.
  • Relay information in an accurate manner to correct individuals and use maintenance services efficiently by promptly reporting unsafe equipment or risky situations.
Requirements
  • Basic reading, writing, and oral English skills.
  • Accountability, multicultural sensitivity, and customer/patient-focused skills.
  • Ability to respond appropriately to customer/co-worker interactions and maintain confidential information.
  • Ability to communicate only the facts to recipients or decline to reveal information.
