About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Imaging Services team at Carilion Clinic. As a vital member of our team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of transforming healthcare.

In this role, you will be responsible for applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis to patients and performing accurate diagnostic procedures. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and provide a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients appropriately for procedures ordered prior to, during, and after treatment.
  • Operate highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR, DR, and PACS systems.
  • Perform IV contrast injections, urinary catheterizations, and other skills as required.
  • Participate in the training of students and staff as assigned.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required. Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology required.
  • Experience preferred, but not required.
  • ARRT registry or registry eligible.
  • AHA BLS-HCP required.
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills required.
