Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Carle Health. As a Radiologic Technologist in an ambulatory setting, you will play a critical role in delivering primary health care services and patient care management by performing diagnostic imaging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the delivery of primary health care services and patient care management by performing diagnostic imaging in an ambulatory setting.
  • Employ proper radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards.
  • Practice sterile techniques and prevent cross-contamination to patients.
  • Perform quality control activities on radiation emitting equipment and darkroom equipment to ensure optimum image quality.

Requirements:

  • Certificate in Successful completion of a certificate program in Radiology.
  • Radiography (R)(ARRT) within 1 year of hire.
  • IEMA Radiography License Illinois OR Temp IEMA upon hire.
  • BLS within 30 days of hire.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies and procedures.
  • Able to write, read, comprehend and speak fluent English.
