We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our team at Private Company. As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Transactions: Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies, create and update expense reports, process vendor invoices, and process reimbursement forms.
- Financial Record-Keeping: Prepare bank deposits, enter financial transactions into internal databases, and check spreadsheets for accuracy.
- Financial Reporting: Maintain digital and physical financial records, and issue invoices to customers and external partners as needed.
- Compliance and Audits: Review and file payroll documents, and participate in quarterly and annual audits.
- Work Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a related field.
- Financial Knowledge: Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures, familiarity with finance regulations, and good math skills.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software.
- Soft Skills: Organization skills, ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, and knowledge of prevailing wage requirements a plus.
