We are seeking a highly skilled CAT Scan Technologist to join our team at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing medically prescribed radiographic and CT procedures, utilizing computerized tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiographic and CT procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and prepare and operate CT scan equipment.
- Position patients to capture high-quality images, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with medical staff to clarify exam requirements and ensure accurate patient information.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to departmental protocols and standards.
To be considered for this role, you must have a Technical Diploma from an AMA-approved school of Radiology or Imaging Services. A New York State Radiologic Technologist License and Advanced Certification in CT are also required. Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills are essential for success in this position.
