We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible Outside Retail and Sales Manager to run and flourish our Janitorial and Construction Supplies Store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and promoting the business, as well as bringing in customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel within the sales territory to meet prospects and customers, conducting calls and face-to-face meetings daily.
  • Be the point of contact for the Janitorial supply and safety retail and rental Store, both in person and online.
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Develop new customers by establishing new distribution channels, explaining product potential to retailers, and identifying opportunities for product improvements and new products.
  • Promote and market the store to attract customers and market the brand for daily operations and special events through social media.
  • Maintain a distributor network by explaining promotions, attending presentations, supporting efforts, and answering questions.
  • Increase market share by designing and presenting national and local promotions.
  • Sell products and establish services with customers by educating them on the benefits financially and professionally.
  • Receive and count new products, reconcile delivery invoices, tickets, and enter new products into the system.
  • Complete customer transactions using the POS register system and balance receipts and payments daily.
  • Prepare and control the store's budget, aiming for minimum expenditure and efficiency.
  • Monitor stock levels and purchases, ensuring they stay within budget.
  • Deal with customer complaints to maintain the store's reputation.
  • Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to take on challenges.
  • Exceedingly well-organized and able to understand customer needs.
