Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Clinical Intern. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' needs and provide emotional support and advocacy
  • Link clients to available resources and provide case management support
  • Conduct initial intakes and develop and maintain service plans
  • Provide peer support groups and co-facilitate counseling with clinicians
  • Assist with psychoeducational groups focused on emotional support, anger management, and healthy relationships
Requirements
  • Master's level student in counseling or social work program
  • At least 1 year of experience working with clients directly
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English and Spanish
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain computer literacy
  • Ability to work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
