We are seeking a skilled Floor Technician to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and restoring floors in assigned locations, operating industrial floor care equipment, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a high level of customer service and respond to customer needs in a timely and professional manner.
- Operate industrial floor care equipment, including floor strippers, burnishers, and vacuum cleaners, to maintain and restore floors to a high standard.
- Perform routine maintenance and restorative processes on all floor surface types, including hard floors, carpets, and upholstered surfaces.
- Properly process and dispose of waste, including municipal solid waste, infectious waste, and pharmaceutical waste.
- Follow all Aramark safety standards, sanitation, and infection control procedures to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our customers.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role.
- Knowledge of floor care equipment and use.
- Ability to read and write to facilitate proper communication with others.
- Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
This role may require physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
