Floor Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Floor Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Healthcare Services Group. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of residential areas, including offices, corridors, lobbies, and public spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, wet mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, shampooing, extraction, and bonneting of hard surfaces and carpets.
• Collect and dispose of trash, recycling, and soiled linen in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment by adhering to infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures.
• Respond to paging system in a timely and appropriate manner.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
• Must live in the service area.
