Role Summary

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

Responding to inquiries regarding:

product pricing, availability, specifications, order inquiries, order processing, order confirmations, order tracking, and product performance issues.

Assisting with technical inquiries from potential customers.


Acting as a liaison between assigned warehouses regarding inventory data and planning (forecasting and stock inquiries) for supply chain and production scheduling.


Based on customer interactions related to order transactions and product performance, contribute to building and maintaining customer relationships through direct communication with the Sales & Marketing team, as well as documenting interactions in CRM software.

Generate reports of business transactions primarily through CRM software entries.

Input new customer information and other order transaction data for existing customers using ERP systems.

Collaborate with external sales representatives to ensure account activities and materials are current using CRM software.


Investigate and relay information to appropriate departments to help identify and resolve customer issues arising during customer interactions.


SUPERVISORY ROLE

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

COMPUTER PROFICIENCY


Must demonstrate a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) or show a willingness to quickly become proficient in each.

Must possess the ability and eagerness to learn new ERP/CRM software/systems as needed.

MATHEMATICAL ABILITY

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
